The Kenwood TH-D700 (aka radio in a box) stays with the ground crew and serves to receive and decode the aprs packets sent out by the TH-F6A/Big Red Bee's. It connects to a laptop through a RS232/serial port. Use a terminal emulation program found Here to view the data in real time.
