Mission Statement
Our mission for each flight is to provide a reliable means to record experimental data and implement control systems, either autonomous or manual control.
Responsibilities
Control and data handling is designed to provide a reliable means to record experimental data. We also interface sensors with the data logger for the science team. When the data has been recorded, and the capsule recovered, we process data for the science team and deliver for them to analyze.
At this point in time, our control systems portion of the group has focused on an automatic cut-down system to ensure our payload does not travel off course. Future plans are to implement bi-directional communication to allow for manual cut-down in case of emergency.
