What Has Already Been Done?
The ISU team flew an egg this past year, contained in a special capsule designed by a 2nd grade class. To their surprise, the egg did survive the flight and landing; however, the egg that came down was not the egg that went up. After the flight, the egg had lost much of its "egg shape" and appeared almost round.
What Do We Want To Do?
We want to:
- Replicate ISU's work with our own egg
- Try several eggs with different environments to see how this affects the shape
