General Team Assessment
Strengths
- Data was recorded for the entire flight.
- The team was was ready quickly at the launch site.
- The DAQ successfully terminated it's recording sequence as expected.
Improvements
- Our padding was left at the HAM shack and improvisation was needed. A list of items will need to be developed so that we do not forget again.
- An anomaly was discovered a few days before launch and was not conveyed to everyone, so it happened again before lift-off, therefor not giving valid Magnetometer data for the flight. We will need to rework the DAQ to fix this issue
- The box we used this time had gaps, allowing the box to jostle, requiring padding at the top. We would like to rework the box and develop a Cubesat standardized DAQ.
- The box must have had an air leak somewhere, as the internal temperature dropped near 0C. This will need to be investigated and all holes will need to be sealed for future launches.
