The Microtrak Units are APRS RF transmitters. The Microtrak 300 is a 300mW unit and the Microtrak 8000 FA is a frequency agile 8W unit. The Microtrak 300 can be amplified to 8 Watts by using the Microamp RF amplifier.
*NOTE! An antenna MUST be attached before applying power or the transmitter will be damaged! This applies even when programming!
