*About Me I like to eat plums. There are probably my favorite fruit. Every since the invention of spell-check, I have become skeptical of my ability to spell. The idea of typing poorly haunts my dreams. I enjoy Spanish and Latino literature, as well as the migratory patterns of waterfowl. Frank Norris is my favorite author. His The Octopus is one of the greatest books ever written in the English language. I enjoy literature and humanities so much, I often wonder why I don't switch to a poetry degree.
But I also enjoy science. Physics, mainly. I hope to one day go to graduate school and get a higher-degree in quantum theory and do theoretical work in unified field theory. Another goal of mine is to sneak into a music composition class and impostor the professor get a mathematical proof named after me and get my darn trombone to work.
I play harmonica, produce short films, write plays, and debunk Classical Greek philosophers. (ask me about Zeno and Pythagoras)
My name is Randall Gunn, and being probably right is, like, my job.
*My Goals for the VAST project I hope to get some good experiments going. I have no real clue at the moment, but I hope there is some cool stuff that can be done in the upper atmosphere. It would also be nice to learn something about engineering, and I think getting my hands involved like this is a pretty good way to get some basic understanding.
