Software Aprsd

APRSD is a server daemon that provides client access (among other things) to amateur radio APRS packet data. In human terms this means APRSD reads data directly from the serial port and acts as a server to provide this data to any number of computers/programs via a computer network. This is server application that runs on a Linux/Mac. In our case it would be running on an embedded Linux system on the Linksys WRT54G routers.

More later, we haven't actually gotten much time to play with this software yet.
