Structures Main (Fall 08)
The structures team is responsible for creating capsules to carry other team's products. The capsules need to be thermally secure so that all electronic equipment can fully operate during the cold temperatures of the upper atmosphere. These capsules also need to be strong enough to survive impact and protect the equipment inside. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining the rigging, parachute, and balloon. Structures team is vital for successful integration of all the teams for launch.
